Pavlos Panagiotidis played in and co-directed a contemporary reimagining of The Persians, the world’s oldest surviving drama, written by Aeschylus. This production by Prosechós Subway explored the aftermath of the Persian defeat at Salamis through a restrained and focused staging that highlighted the human cost of war.

The creative team included:

Translation: Panagiotis Moullas
Direction, Set, and Costume Design: Prosechós Subway
Music Composition and Vocal Coaching: Stellina Vogiatzis
Set Construction: Stelios Paraskevas
Costume Creation: Kostas Konstantinidis
Electronic Installation: Christos Stefanidis, Alexandros Vogiatzis
The cast featured Paschalis Arampatzis, Stellina Vogiatzis, Dimitris Koidis, and Pavlos Panagiotidis.

This interpretation retained the core of Aeschylus’s original work while incorporating modern elements to engage contemporary audiences, reflecting on the universal and enduring themes of loss and resilience.
